Vincent Trépanier, P.Eng.

A graduate of the University of Sherbrooke with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Vincent is naturally curious. That’s what led him to make a sudden career change when he chose to join our Quebec City team in April 2025.

He already had 15 years of experience in managing complex construction projects, site supervision, and applied engineering, and his interest in demystifying scientific concepts led him to take on a new challenge as a forensic fire investigator at Origin.

Before joining us, he spent more than 8 years in a key role as a project manager and estimator at a major company in the maritime sector, where he oversaw large-scale projects. He has also served as a quality supervisor and held on-site positions at construction companies, which sets him apart at Origin. He brings a unique perspective that allows him to combine scientific cause analysis with the technical realities of on-site project coordination. Origin is proud to have this versatile set of skills on its team to tackle complex challenges.
