1. Personal Information That Origin May Collect

Origin collects, uses, or shares personal information only after obtaining the informed consent of the individuals concerned, subject to exceptions permitted by law.

The type and scope of personal information that Origin collects in a file depend on many factors, including the service provided by our company and the legal and regulatory obligations associated with the provision of that service. With that in mind, here is the information we may collect to carry out our mission:

The insurer’s case and policy numbers, and the name of the contact person at the insurer;

Information Collected Electronically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect, using electronic means, information that is transmitted between your computer and Origin’s server. This information is compiled, stored, and used to measure and improve the effectiveness and quality of our website and is not shared with third parties. 4. Intranet

We use an intranet platform to access information about our various projects and track work in progress. This intranet is secure and complies with industry norms and standards.

We do not disclose any personal information we have collected to anyone without your consent or without complying with the terms of Sections 5, 6, and 7 of this policy.

However, we reserve the right to disclose such personal information if required by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law or a legal proceeding, to protect ourselves, defend our rights or property, or assist in the detection or prevention of illegal activities.

6. Retention Periods, Destruction, and Transfer of Information

Personal information collected by Origin is destroyed or deleted as soon as we no longer need it for the purposes for which it was provided, or for a longer period when required or permitted by law or our professional obligations.

When your information is no longer needed, we take the necessary steps to destroy it securely. The methods used include the following:

Secure Physical Destruction: Paper documents containing personal information are securely destroyed using an industrial shredder, ensuring that the information cannot be recovered;
Electronic erasure: Electronic data containing personal information is securely erased using methods that comply with current security standards, preventing its subsequent recovery;
Transfer: When it is necessary to transfer personal information to authorized third parties, we use secure transfer methods that comply with industry norms and standards.

Transfer of Personal Information to a Third Party

When personal information must be transferred to a service provider to fulfill our legal or contractual obligations, Origin enters into an agreement with that provider to ensure that it complies with the standards and obligations set forth by law and in this policy, or ensures that it obtains the prior consent of the individual concerned, subject to the exceptions provided for by law.

Origin is committed to not selling or renting your personal information to any third party.

7. Sale of a Business

In the event that we intend to sell or transfer ownership or control of all or part of our business, operations, or services to a third party, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information to a potential buyer before and after the sale. However, if the sale takes place, we will require the buyer to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If the sale does not take place, we will require the potential buyer not to use or disclose your personal information in any way and to destroy it.
