Robin Girard, P.Eng.

After studying mechanical engineering at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Robin initially worked as a project manager and in research and development before making the transition to post-disaster investigation.

Having taken an unconventional path—working as a mechanical engineering technician before becoming an engineer—he has developed an approach that is deeply grounded in practical, hands-on experience.

Before joining Origin, he worked as a tooling project manager, with responsibilities ranging from design supervision to the development and integration of tooling in aerospace assembly. Additionally, his experience in research and development in the field of fire protection makes him a key resource on the team. He also has extensive experience in mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing. Thanks to his dynamism, his ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms, his commitment to seeing things through to the end, and his knowledge across diverse sectors—including manufacturing, aerospace, and fire safety—Robin is a professional we are proud to count among our mechanical engineering team.
